About Tony BrazisBorn of Lithuanian heritage, this transplanted New Mexican spent his
early years absorbing the seasonings of Blues, Rock & Jazz in Ohio.
Early appearances on national television, and performances with his
first band Tony and the Bandits helped cultivate a life long love of
music and appreciation for the many different sounds and rhythms the
world has to offer. He now divides his time between performing solo, and playing with his band, The Tony Brazis Group. They appear regularly at Stoneface Tavern, O’Niell’s Uptown, Arts In The Parks, and many private functions. The group plays a variety of music, from Eric Clapton to Santana, as well as original songs from Tony's CDs. In addition to everything else, the group has been a regular on the KUNM radio show “Ear to the Ground” with John Strader. Known not only for his performances, Tony has also written and produced music for television and commercial video presentations, including KNME, PBS, and ABC. His most recent project is the album Hold On To Your Freedom. With all origional music, it is described as rockin’ Blues with a Latin twist. |
